We are seeking a motivated and dependable Fabrication Shop Helper to join our growing team. This position plays a vital role in supporting our fabrication operations by assisting welders, fitters, machine operators, and shop personnel with daily production activities.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a fabrication, manufacturing, or industrial environment and understands the importance of safety, teamwork, and maintaining a productive work environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist welders, fitters, and shop personnel with fabrication and production tasks.
• Safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move materials throughout the shop.
• Load, unload, stage, and organize materials for fabrication projects.
• Use grinders and other common fabrication tools to prepare materials and components.
• Clean and prepare parts for welding, fitting, painting, or shipment.
• Assist with material handling, inventory organization, and general shop support.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
• Follow work instructions and assist where needed to support production schedules.
• Perform other duties as assigned to help ensure successful project completion.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a fabrication, manufacturing, or industrial shop environment.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift.
• Ability to safely operate an overhead crane.
• Proficiency with grinders and other common hand and power tools.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and stay productive throughout the workday
