Automotive Body Technician - Baton Rouge 

EVALUATION HIRE

$27-30/hr  

Monday-Friday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm  

 

Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing agency, is hiring Auto Body Technicians for a local car dealership in East Baton Rouge. Ideal candidates will be hard workers looking for a career in the automotive industry with a customer satisfaction-driven mindset.  

 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES for Automotive Body Technicians: 

• Perform structural and non-structural collision repairs on a variety of vehicles.
• Repair, replace, and align body panels, doors, fenders, bumpers, and related components.
• Use frame straightening and measuring equipment to restore vehicles to manufacturer specifications.
• Complete repairs according to OEM standards and company quality guidelines.
• Work closely with estimators, painters, and production staff to ensure efficient workflow.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.

 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Previous experience as an Auto Body Technician REQUIRED. 
• Knowledge of collision repair techniques, tools, and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret repair estimates and work orders.
• I-CAR and/or ASE certifications are a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must have own hand and powers needed for doing body work.
