Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Assembly Production Line Lead to oversee daily production activities while leading a team of assembly associates. The Line Lead is responsible for ensuring production goals, quality standards, and safety requirements are met while maintaining an efficient workflow. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise assembly line employees during daily production.
• Assign work tasks and ensure production schedules are met.
• Monitor productivity and quality throughout the shift.
• Train new employees on assembly processes, safety procedures, and quality expectations.
• Ensure all products meet company quality standards and customer specifications.
• Troubleshoot production issues and work with management to resolve problems quickly.
• Monitor inventory of materials and communicate shortages to supervisors.
• Complete production reports and maintain accurate documentation.
• Enforce company policies, attendance expectations, and safety procedures.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Assist with assembling products as needed to meet production demands.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following 5S and housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years of manufacturing or assembly experience.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a production environment preferred.
• Strong understanding of assembly processes and production workflow.
• Ability to read work instructions, production schedules, and basic manufacturing documentation.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Basic computer skills for reporting production and attendance.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift.
• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Repetitive use of hands, arms, and wrists.
• Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and stooping.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• Overtime as required based on production needs
