Now Hiring: Spooler Trainee Technician!
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a motivated and dependable Spooler Trainee Technician for one of our valued clients in the Oil & Gas industry. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, wants to learn a specialized trade, and is willing to travel and work overtime as needed. Training is provided for the right candidate!

What You’ll Do

• Learn the setup, operation, calibration, and maintenance of spooling equipment
• Assist experienced spoolers with loading and unloading materials onto spools
• Monitor the spooling process to ensure efficiency and quality
• Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues and malfunctions
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment
• Record spooling data, including spool length, tension, and speed
• Work with team members to meet production goals and project deadlines
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

What We’re Looking For

• Must have or be willing to obtain a Class A or Class B CDL (training available for the right candidate)
• Ability to drive a manual transmission
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate machinery
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials and equipment
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
• Team-oriented attitude and good communication skills
• Flexibility to work overtime, evenings, weekends, and travel as needed

Work Schedule

• Full-time position
• Monday–Friday
• Day shift
• Overtime available
• Weekends as needed
• 40+ hours per week with travel requirements
