Our client in Willoughby, OH is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Packing Associate to join a busy manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for packaging finished products, preparing orders for shipment, maintaining inventory accuracy, and utilizing the EIC system for shipping and inventory transactions. Candidates must have prior experience working with EIC software and shipping operations in a manufacturing setting.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Package and prepare finished goods for shipment according to customer specifications.
• Utilize the EIC system to process shipments, track inventory, and maintain accurate records.
• Verify product quantities, part numbers, and shipping documentation.
• Create and print shipping labels and packing slips.
• Build, band, wrap, and stage pallets for shipment.
• Load and unload materials as needed.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet customer requirements.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and system transactions.
• Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications:

• Previous shipping and receiving experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• Experience using EIC software is required.
• Strong understanding of inventory control and shipping documentation.
• Ability to read work orders and follow shipping instructions.
• Basic computer skills and data entry experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements:

• Standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Frequent lifting, packing, and palletizing of products.

Schedule:

• Full-time opportunity.
• Overtime may be available based on production needs.

Pay:

• $17.00 an hour
