What You Get to Do! 
Responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and high quality manufacture of products across a wide range of processes, departments, and shifts. Leads by example with an uncompromising commitment to safety. Accountable for meeting all quality, productivity, and cost objectives while driving continuous improvement. Directs and empowers Production Supervisors, Coordinators, and Leads to achieve operational excellence and maintain a high performance culture.

Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge and ability to apply budgeting, planning, manufacturing processes, and financial management tools. Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of and ability to apply “lean”, “TOC”, “interference management” and “NEI” processes in area of responsibility, and ability to manage complex processes, procedures, and functions.
•    Responsible for the safe manufacture of products, safety in the areas of responsibility, and maintaining a safe, injury-free work environment.
•    Ensures that all employees work in a safe manner and that each employee is properly trained in all safety procedures. Ensures that good housekeeping practices and all safety policies are consistently followed.
•    Responsible for adherence to process control procedures, operating instructions, and all quality control instructions.
•    Ensures that throughput and target earned hours are attained and budget criteria is met or exceeded.
•    Plans, organizes and supervises operations in accordance with production schedules and requirements in the most cost-effective manner.
•    Maintains adequate staffing to meet required production schedules.
•    Leads the annual budgeting process for areas of responsibility.
•    Develops, trains, and involves employees in maintaining and improving departmental safety, quality, efficiency, productivity, cooperation and morale.
•    Ensures effective employee relations. Coaches and develops team. Resolves employee issues through problem resolution.
•    Is responsible for training and developing leadership and supervisory staff to safely and effective manage assigned production operations.
•    Responsible for consistent policy application and performance management in all areas of responsibility.
•    Works with employees to effectively resolve work place issues, gives necessary feedback on employee performance. Conducts formal performance appraisals and effectively performance manages team.
•    Interviews and recommends candidates for hire.

What You Will Bring…
•    Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering field, or 5-7 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience and responsibility.
•    Demonstrated ability to develop, execute and deliver results in conformance with action plans.
•    Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations.
•    Highly organized and self-motivated; can work independently as well as work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
•    Proven ability to lead people and get results through others, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•    Must be able to demonstrate proficient skills in MS Office applications and software, particularly in Excel and inventory and production planning and tracking applications.
