Resistance Welding Operator

Salary: Up to $23/hr

Express Employment of St. Croix Falls has partnered with a company in Osceola that is currently hiring for a Resistance Welding Operator. In this role candidates will be operating welding equipment to join metal parts, some of the welding includes spot and projection welding. Hours for this position are 5am to 3pm Monday-Thursday and pay is up to $23/hr based on experience. 

Job Duties:

• Spot and projection welding on multiple resistance welding types of machines. 
• Operator will be holding components together manually, fasten into jigs, or secure with clamps to align into position.
• Operator will be initiating foot switch to electrodes using file tip dresser, or emery cloth. 
• Perform quality checks using proper measuring devices during operation. 
• Complete quality records and stop production when quality issues are detected.

Job Requirements:

• Basic resistance welding training required.
• 1-3 years experience in welding operation. 
• Mechanical aptitude, physical dexterity, and blueprint reading skills required. 
• Must be able to bend, twist, stoop, reach, and lift material up to 50 pounds.
