Sign Installer

Salary: $25.00 to $35.00

Our client, a reputable signage company located in Ottawa’s West End, is seeking a Sign Installer to join their growing team. Duties may include but are limited to:

• Install and assemble a variety of interior and exterior signage at customer locations
• Perform sign construction, preparation, and assembly to ensure quality installations
• Safely operate a bucket truck to complete signage installations at heights
• Drive a bucket truck and cargo van to and from job sites and customer locations
• Load, transport, and unload signage, materials, and installation equipment
• Conduct on-site measurements and ensure installations meet customer specifications and quality standards
• Complete installations efficiently while adhering to workplace safety procedures and regulations
• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance checks on company vehicles and equipment
• Maintain a professional and customer-focused attitude while representing the company at installation sites
• Assist with additional shop and installation duties as required

Required skills and qualifications:

• Previous experience in construction, trades, signage installation, or a related hands-on industry
• Proficiency with a wide range of hand and power tools, with a strong mechanical aptitude (drills, grinders, etc.)
• Comfortable working on ladders and performing installations at heights while following safety procedures
• Experience working independently and managing tasks effectively at customer sites and project locations
• Ability to read measurements and complete installations accurately and efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship
• Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment on job sites
• Reliable, self-motivated, and capable of troubleshooting and problem-solving in the field
• Physically capable of lifting, carrying, and installing signage and related materials
• Valid Class G driver's license with a clean driving record

Compensation:

 

$25.00 to $35.00 per hour depending on experience

Monday – Friday – 7:00am/9:00am – 4:00pm/6:00pm with occasional off hours approximately once per month
