Operations Specialist

Pay: $25/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

We are seeking a highly organized and adaptable Operations Specialist to support our Human Resources, Accounting, and Business Operations functions. This position will initially focus heavily on HR responsibilities but offers excellent long-term growth opportunities for someone interested in expanding into accounting and operational support.

Responsibilities

Human Resources

  • Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding
  • Process employment applications and new hire documentation
  • Assist with payroll processing and timesheet management
  • Track and manage employee PTO requests
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions and concerns
  • Support employee relations initiatives

Accounting Support

  • Assist with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable activities
  • Support payroll administration
  • Assist with inventory-related administrative functions

Operations Support

  • Create and maintain spreadsheets and reports
  • Assist with route tracking and operational reporting
  • Provide customer support as needed
  • Support various business operations and administrative projects

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in Human Resources, Operations, or Office Administration, 
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage changing priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR Software
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong sense of accountability and follow-through

Preferred Experience

  • Experience supporting HR functions
  • Exposure to accounting processes such as AP, AR, or payroll
  • Background in construction, transportation, logistics, field services, or similar operational environments

We're looking for someone who is not afraid to jump in wherever needed, enjoys solving problems, and can effectively support a workforce of approximately 100 employees. The ideal candidate will have a blend of HR and business operations experience and be interested in growing into broader accounting and operational responsibilities over time.

Additional Requirements

  • Successful completion of a background check
  • Successful completion of a drug screening
