Customer Service Representative

 

Pay: $16.37-16.50/hour (DOE; Lead roles $18–$19/hour)

Schedule: 1st and 2nd shift: 5:30 AM – 2:30 PM or 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM

 

Position Summary

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for delivering excellent service in a high-volume gas station and convenience store environment. This role involves assisting customers at the register and sales floor, handling cash transactions, stocking merchandise, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized store. The Customer Service Representative will be assisting in all areas of the store. 

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner

  • Operate POS systems to process fuel, merchandise and age-restricted product transactions

  • Accurately count cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts

  • Stock shelves, coolers, and displays; rotate inventory as needed

  • Maintain cleanliness of the store, restrooms and forecourt areas

  • Support tobacco, car wash and general store operations

  • Communicate with team members using store communication tools (i.e. walkie-talkies)

  • Follow safety protocols and store procedures in a camera-monitored environment

 

Qualifications

  • Prior customer service or retail experience preferred

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment and “hustle” when busy

 

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and work on your feet for an entire 8-hour shift

  • Ability to lift, carry, and move products and materials (typically up to 30–40 lbs)

  • Comfortable using carts and other basic equipment for stocking
