Maintenance Mechanic

Located in McAllen, TX

Express is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic to work in the South McAllen area: 

Technical Job Functions
• Strong mechanical and analytical skills.
• Experience in preventative maintenance.
• Ability to understand written or oral instruction for safety rules, specifications, etc.
• Knowledge of shop math, blueprints and measurement tools.
• Observe established safe working and housekeeping procedures. Promptly correct and/or notify facilitator/coordinator of hazardous situations.
• Demonstrate proper handling of material handling equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on production machines. Maintain oil, lube, filter and coolant processes.
• Interface with machine operators to identify significant machine problems, determinate root cause and corrective action. Order and install parts, verify problem corrected.
• Perform machine adjustments, realignments, build, rebuild and minor repairs.
• Trouble-shoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Interface with vendors for parts or service and repair beyond our capability.
• Trouble-shoot some electrical and electronic problems and make adjustments on PC boards.
