Material Handler (July 27- August 7)

This position supports warehouse operations by moving, stacking, de-stacking, and handling plastic totes (bins) in a climate-controlled facility. This is a physically active role requiring repetitive lifting and movement throughout the 10-hour shift.

 

Schedule

7/27 - 8/7 | Monday - Friday | 7:30am - 5:30pm

 

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a pallet jack safely and efficiently
• De-stack plastic bins from pallets and place them in designated locations
• Break down and separate stacks of bins for processing
• Move pallets and bins throughout the work area
• Maintain a steady pace while performing repetitive tasks
• Follow all safety procedures and work instructions
• Keep the work area clean and organized

 

Physical Requirements

• Work is performed indoors in an air-conditioned environment
• Each pallet contains approximately 50 plastic bins stacked to about 100 inches high
• Each bin weighs approximately 9 pounds
• Frequent repetitive lifting, reaching, bending, and twisting throughout the shift
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to safely lift and move bins on a continuous basis

 

Requirements

• Ability to safely operate a pallet jack (required)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and instructions

 

Safety Requirements

• Closed-toed work shoes required (leather work boots preferred)
• Additional PPE and safety equipment will be provided as needed
• Must follow all facility safety policies and procedures at all times
