Salary: $22 - $23/hour

We have immediate openings for Machine Operators with out client, a plastic products manufacturing in Janesville.

 

This is are skilled machine operator roles, and evaluation hire with a company that offers full benefits package.

 

Main Duties:

• Maintain operation of multiple lines, including loading gaskets and packaging end product for shipment.
  Visually inspect products for quality assurance purposes.
• Measure and record pipe dimensions as required. Take proper action according to SPC Charting
• Control dimensions to maintain pipe specifications with direct supervision.
  Move bundled pipe from work area (scrap and good product) with the use of forklift.
• Assist in production line start-up activities and changeovers.
• Follow all operational and safety procedures.
• Cut and band scrap as directed.
  
  

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong math skills
• Previous machine operation or assembly experience, plastic industry preferred
• Previous experience with hand tools, power tools, and tape measures

 

Schedule: This is a 12 hour rotation schedule (2-2-3)

• Days: 6pm - 6:30am
• Nights: 6am - 6:30pm

 

Pay: $22 - $23/hour depending on experience.  Potential for higher starting pay, BOE
