Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Industrial Sewing Technician to fabricate theatrical curtains, scenery drops, and custom fabric products. This role is ideal for someone with industrial sewing experience who takes pride in producing high-quality work while meeting production deadlines. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with large, heavy fabrics and can work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
• Read design drawings, sketches, specification sheets, and verbal instructions to complete custom projects
• Measure, cut, sew, and finish theatrical curtains, scenery drops, and other custom fabric products
• Operate industrial sewing machines and work on large production tables (25–40 feet)
• Install grommets, rivets, and other top finishes using hand tools
• Handle and move fabric rolls weighing up to 150 lbs. (team lift over 50 lbs.)
• Inspect finished products for quality, tag completed items, and package them for shipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following company quality standards

Qualifications
• Previous industrial sewing experience required
• Ability to read measurements and follow drawings and specifications accurately
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform frequent tugging, pulling, standing, and repetitive movements
• Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Non-smoking preferred due to the handling of delicate fabrics and flame-retardant materials

Location: Pensacola, FL
Position Type: Full-Time
Pay: $22.00/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 2:30pm–11:00pm
