Position: Property Maintenance Technician
Location: Corning, NY (travel to multiple sites required)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Position Overview
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable Property Maintenance Technician for a long-term opportunity supporting the upkeep of multiple residential and commercial locations. This role focuses on routine maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep. The position is temporary with strong potential for permanent hire based on performance.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Complete routine maintenance and minor repairs at assigned properties
- Assist with a variety of building-related tasks including carpentry, basic electrical, and plumbing work
- Respond to maintenance requests and complete work safely and efficiently
- Help maintain clean, functional, and well-kept properties
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule as needed
- Travel between job sites when required
Qualifications & Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in property maintenance, construction, or a related field preferred
- Working knowledge of general building trades such as carpentry, electrical, and plumbing
- Valid driver’s license required
- Clean driving record over the past three years (no major violations)
- Reliable transportation
- Flexible schedule and willingness to travel between locations
- Ability to lift and carry materials as needed
