Sign Installer

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated, dependable, and safety-conscious Sign Installer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing a wide variety of interior and exterior commercial signage. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, enjoys hands-on work, and takes pride in delivering high-quality installations while providing excellent customer service.

Whether you're installing monument signs, channel letters, vinyl graphics, illuminated signs, or directional signage, you'll play a key role in creating professional, eye-catching displays that exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Install a wide variety of commercial signage, including illuminated signs, channel letters, monument signs, pylon signs, dimensional lettering, vinyl graphics, wall signage, and window graphics.
• Safely load, transport, unload, and stage signs, materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
• Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, technical drawings, and installation specifications.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, scaffolding, aerial lifts, and bucket trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform electrical connections for illuminated signs (experience preferred but not required).
• Ensure all installations meet company quality standards, customer expectations, and local building codes.
• Inspect completed projects for accuracy, functionality, and overall appearance.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and perform maintenance on existing signage as needed.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment to ensure they remain clean, organized, and in good working condition.
• Complete installation documentation and provide timely project updates to supervisors, office staff, and customers.
• Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and job site requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous experience installing commercial signs, construction, carpentry, or a related trade is preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools.
• Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and measuring tools.
• Comfortable working at heights using ladders, lifts, and bucket trucks.
• Basic electrical knowledge is a plus but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.
• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
