Sanitation – 3rd Shift

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and hardworking Sanitation to join our 3rd Shift team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary production environment by cleaning equipment, production areas, and facility spaces in compliance with company standards and food safety regulations.

The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining high sanitation standards, works well independently, and is committed to workplace safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production equipment, machinery, processing lines, and work areas according to established sanitation procedures.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment to ensure thorough cleaning and proper sanitation.
• Safely handle and use approved cleaning chemicals, sanitizers, and equipment in accordance with company policies and OSHA guidelines.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, GMP, and company safety regulations.
• Complete sanitation logs, cleaning records, and other required documentation accurately and on time.
• Inspect equipment and work areas to verify cleanliness and identify any sanitation concerns.
• Report equipment malfunctions, maintenance needs, or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
• Assist with additional sanitation or production-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous sanitation, janitorial, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience in a food manufacturing or production environment is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and food safety.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, twist, and walk for extended periods.
• Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals and following safety procedures.
• Reliable transportation and a strong attendance record.
