Reach Truck Operator

Position Summary

We are seeking experienced, dependable, and safety-conscious Reach Truck Operators to join a fast-paced warehouse team in the Richmond area. The ideal candidate will have experience operating reach trucks in a warehouse environment and be committed to maintaining accuracy, productivity, and workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a reach truck to move, store, and retrieve pallets and materials throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload trucks while ensuring products are handled with care.
• Accurately transport inventory to designated storage and staging locations.
• Stack, organize, and replenish warehouse inventory in accordance with company procedures.
• Perform pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance concerns.
• Maintain accurate inventory movements using warehouse systems or RF scanners, as required.
• Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and warehouse procedures.
• Assist with order picking, packing, staging, and other general warehouse duties as needed.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a reach truck is required.
• Forklift or reach truck certification is preferred (or the ability to obtain certification).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety and accuracy.
• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance record.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team-oriented environment.
• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution center is a plus.
