A Company established in the market for truly transformative, synergistic private label skincare products. Partnering with physicians, physician assistants (PAs), and nurse practitioners (NPs) to develop high-quality, customized product lines tailored for in-office retail, with a commitment to innovation, precision, and quality in the medical aesthetics and skincare industry, is seeking a Quality Control Person to join their team in Canoga Park.

Summary: Seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and committed to ensuring products consistently meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform quality inspections on incoming raw materials, in-process production, and finished skincare products.
  • Verify products meet established specifications, quality standards, and company procedures.
  • Conduct visual inspections and basic testing to identify defects, inconsistencies, or non-conforming products.
  • Accurately document inspection results and maintain quality control records.
  • Assist in investigating quality issues and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Collaborate with Production, Manufacturing, and Operations teams to resolve quality concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and applicable industry regulations.
  • Maintain inspection equipment and ensure work areas remain clean and organized.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing processes.
  • Support internal and external quality audits as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or related coursework is a plus.
  • 1–3 years of quality control or quality assurance experience in manufacturing, cosmetics, skincare, pharmaceutical, or medical device industries preferred.
  • Experience working in a GMP-regulated environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and follow SOPs, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods as needed.
