A leading designer and builder of vehicle mounted lifting solutions is hiring for a Mechanical Installation Technician for their clean, organized facility located in Shelby Township. If you're a hobby or back yard mechanic, this is a great job for you!

Overview:

The Mechanical Installation Technician is responsible for ensuring that hydraulics, electrical components, and sub-assemblies are assembled and installed per documentation and customer specifications with a high level of workmanship.

What You Will Do:

• Prepare work by gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
• Read work orders and assemble, install, and test products to specifications.
• Follow established processes & procedures regarding workmanship and safety regulations.
• Ensure all required documentation is complete and correct.
• Other duties as assigned

What You Bring:

Required:

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of previous mechanical assembly experience.
• A valid driver's license.
• Experience using basic hand and power tools, torque wrenches and testing equipment.
• Basic electric, mechanical, and hydraulic knowledge and experience.
• Basic computer skills and experience with MS Office
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Physical Demands

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when required. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand up to 8 hrs. or more, walk, bend, kneel and reach with hands and arms. Repetitive motions, frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling may be required.

Hours: 6:30am - 5:00pm (10 hrs.) Monday - Thursday + overtime as required

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00/hr. or more depending on experience
