Industrial Electrician

Direct Hire | 1st Shift | Chesterfield Township, MI

An established automotive stamping manufacturer is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to support production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This is a hands-on role for someone with strong industrial electrical experience who is also comfortable assisting with mechanical maintenance when needed. If you've worked on manufacturing equipment, enjoy troubleshooting, and take pride in keeping production running, we'd like to talk with you.

Schedule

• 1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 5:00am - 3:30pm
• Regular overtime available (typically 10-16 hours per week)
• Saturdays are required based on production schedules, with overtime shared across the team whenever possible

What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems on production equipment
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, motors, transformers, controls, and other electrical components
• Read and troubleshoot electrical ladder diagrams and schematics
• Diagnose equipment failures and make necessary repairs to minimize downtime
• Assist with mechanical maintenance and equipment repairs as needed
• Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment
• Work safely while supporting production in a high-volume automotive stamping facility

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of industrial electrical experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience reading electrical schematics and ladder logic
• Ability to diagnose and repair production equipment
• Mechanical maintenance experience or willingness to support mechanical repairs
• Familiarity with industrial controls and manufacturing equipment
• Journeyman Electrician experience is a plus, but industrial manufacturing experience is most important
