Press Operator

Are you an experienced manufacturing professional looking to join a growing medical manufacturing company? We are seeking dependable and motivated Press Operators to join our production team. This position is ideal for candidates with manufacturing experience who take pride in producing high-quality products while maintaining a safe work environment.

Medical manufacturing experience is highly preferred, but candidates with a strong manufacturing background are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Operate punch press and production equipment safely and efficiently.
• Install, remove, and assist with changing die blocks and tooling.
• Team lift die blocks weighing up to 75 pounds when required.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and production specifications.
• Complete production paperwork and maintain accurate records.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety policies and quality procedures.
• Occasionally assist with grinding and other secondary production operations.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience required.
• Medical device or medical manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
• Experience operating press equipment is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to read work instructions and follow written procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to producing quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Frequently lift, push, pull, and move materials.
• Ability to team lift die blocks weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, and repetitive hand movements.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment around machinery.
