Shipping Clerk

Schedule: Full-Time | 40 Hours per Week

Are you organized, detail-oriented, and looking for an opportunity to grow in a manufacturing environment? We are seeking a Shipping Clerk to join our team! In this role, you'll help ensure products are accurately prepared, packaged, and shipped to customers while supporting daily warehouse and shipping operations.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage, package, and prepare materials and products for shipment.
• Review shipping documents including work orders, packing slips, bills of lading, and invoices.
• Verify quantities, part numbers, weights, and dimensions for shipment accuracy.
• Coordinate domestic and international shipments using various shipping carriers.
• Process shipments using shipping software such as UPS WorldShip and FedEx Ship Manager.
• Generate shipping labels, packing slips, and customs documentation.
• Package products to ensure safe transportation and delivery.
• Build and repair shipping crates, pallets, and other shipping containers as needed.
• Load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
• Maintain accurate shipping records and inventory documentation.
• Assist with receiving, warehouse, and inventory functions when needed.
• Follow all safety procedures while maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two or more years of experience in shipping, warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing preferred.
• Experience with domestic and international shipping is a plus.
• Forklift experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, or similar shipping software.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data entry.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach throughout the workday.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing and warehouse environment.
