Express Employment Professionals, Delta is recruiting for full time permanent Class A Pressure Welder / Fabricator for our well-established custom metal fabrication and manufacturing client based in Delta, BC.

 

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and fabrication on structural and plate components using carbon steel and stainless steel materials
• Read, interpret, and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and weld symbols
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment and shop tools safely and effectively
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move materials and finished products
• Coordinate with team members to prioritize workflow and meet production deadlines
• Troubleshoot fabrication issues and adjust techniques as required
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times

Requirements

• Valid Class A Certificate of Qualifications 
• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on welding and fabrication experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or production shop setting
• Proven experience welding and fabricating with both carbon steel and stainless steel
• Solid understanding of structural and plate welding techniques and applicable standards
• Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes
• Ability to work safely and cooperatively in a busy shop environment with other tradespeople

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of a recognized welding program What We Offer

Wage $40-50/hr depending on experience and group performance bonuses.
