We are seeking a Material Handler II to support warehouse, inventory, and production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring materials are received, stored, tracked, and delivered accurately to support production schedules and customer expectations.

The ideal candidate has experience with inventory control, ERP systems, and material handling processes and enjoys working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

 

Position Summary

The Material Handler II is responsible for the movement, storage, and control of materials throughout the supply chain process—from receipt through shipping, production consumption, or disposal. This position helps maintain inventory accuracy, supports production efficiency, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Process ERP transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Safely move, store, and track materials while maintaining inventory accuracy.
  • Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory reconciliations.
  • Identify, label, organize, and stock materials in designated locations.
  • Pull and verify materials using pick tickets and inventory records.
  • Utilize barcode scanners to track inventory, serial numbers, and lot numbers.
  • Assist with receiving, shipping, and material distribution activities as needed.
  • Support inventory control and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
  • Follow company safety, security, and information technology policies.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2–4 years of material handling, warehouse, inventory, logistics, or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Experience using ERP or inventory management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across departments.
  • Ability to pass a post-offer background check.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the facility for extended periods.
  • Ability to work shifts up to 12 hours when required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse or production environment where temperatures may vary.
