Warehouse & Sales Counter Associate Job Summary:

A growing industrial distributor is looking for a Warehouse & Sales Counter Associate to join their team. This position is seeking a dependable, customer-focused individual who enjoys hands-on work while providing excellent service to customers in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The Warehouse & Sales Counter Associate will be responsible for shipping and receiving, inventory organization, order fulfillment, assisting customers at the sales counter, and assembling hydraulic hose products. Over time, there is potential to grow into warehouse leadership or customer service responsibilities.

Warehouse & Sales Counter Associate Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, stock, and organize incoming inventory to maintain accurate warehouse inventory levels
• Pick, package, and ship customer orders accurately while ensuring on-time order fulfillment
• Assist walk-in customers at the sales counter by providing friendly service, answering questions, and helping identify the appropriate products for their needs
• Build hydraulic hose assemblies and other custom assemblies according to customer specifications
• Process customer transactions and communicate inventory shortages, stock discrepancies, or order concerns as needed
• Support production through hose assembly, kit packaging, fitting processing, product inspection, and other operational tasks
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse while following company quality and safety standards
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, computers, and warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
• Assist with inventory organization, cycle counts, and other warehouse improvement initiatives as assigned

Schedule & Pay:

• 7:30am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday
• $18-$22/HR depending on experience and potential

Warehouse & Sales Counter Associate Qualifications:

• Previous experience in warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, inventory control, industrial distribution, or customer service preferred
• Experience assisting customers, processing orders, or working in a customer-facing environment is highly preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional and customer-focused approach
• Comfortable balancing warehouse responsibilities with customer interaction throughout the day
• Proficiency with basic computer systems and Microsoft Office; ability to quickly learn new software
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and maintain accuracy
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn industrial products, fittings, and hose assemblies
• Forklift experience is preferred
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and safely perform the physical requirements of the position
• Demonstrated reliability, strong work ethic, and a desire to grow into additional responsibilities
