About the Position

Our staffing agency is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Batch Maker to join a growing production team in Sodus, Michigan. This hands-on role is responsible for preparing and mixing materials according to established formulas, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with manufacturing, production, construction, agricultural, or industrial experience who enjoy physical work and operating equipment.

Essential Responsibilities

• Measure, mix, and prepare batches according to production specifications.
• Operate and monitor mixing equipment, pumps, and related machinery.
• Load raw materials into tanks, mixers, and production equipment.
• Monitor batch quality and ensure consistency throughout the production process.
• Maintain accurate production records and inventory documentation.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and storing materials.
• Clean and maintain production equipment, tools, and work areas.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and company policies.
• Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, construction, agriculture, or industrial settings preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and equipment operation experience are a plus.
• Valid Chauffeur's License preferred ($21.00/hour pay rate).
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and climb throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in an industrial environment and around machinery.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work during 10-hour shifts.

Compensation & Benefits

• $20.00 per hour starting pay
• $21.00 per hour for candidates with a valid Chauffeur's License
• Full-time schedule: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
