3PL Manufacturing Company 

Shift 6am-2:30pm, will transition to 9:00am-6:00pm (must be open to a flexible schedule)

Pay: $19 per hour 
 
Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Sanitation Technician to join our contract manufacturing team. The Sanitation Technician will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout the manufacturing facility to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

*Bilingual preferred, English and Spanish*

We are looking for someone that can take pistons and pumps apart along with knowing how to deep clean tanks, drums and totes. 

Key Responsibilities:
•Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of manufacturing equipment, production lines, work areas, and common areas according to established sanitation schedules and procedures.
•Follow proper cleaning protocols using approved cleaning agents, disinfectants, and sanitation tools.
•Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Food Safety regulations (e.g., FDA, USDA, or relevant authority), and company hygiene standards.
•Document all sanitation activities accurately in logs and reports.
•Identify and report any sanitation issues, equipment malfunctions, or potential contamination risks to supervisors promptly.
•Assist with preparation for audits and inspections by maintaining thorough sanitation records.
•Handle waste disposal according to facility guidelines and environmental regulations.
•Participate in safety training and adhere to all safety policies.
•Support cross-functional teams as needed to maintain overall plant cleanliness and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:
•High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
•Previous experience in sanitation within a manufacturing or food production environment is a plus.
•Knowledge of sanitation chemicals, cleaning techniques, and safety procedures.
•Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently.
•Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
•Physical ability to perform manual cleaning tasks, including lifting, standing for long periods, and working in varying temperature conditions.
•Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
•Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or overtime, if required.
