Fabrication A – Material Handler

Shift:

2nd Shift: Monday – Thursday, 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM

Pay Rate: $19.77 per hour

 

Position Summary

We are seeking dependable and safety-conscious individuals to join our manufacturing team as a Fabrication A – Material Handler. This position is responsible for ensuring production machines remain supplied with the materials needed to maintain efficient operations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, following safety procedures, and supporting production goals through timely material movement and machine loading.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Load raw materials into fabrication and production machines.
• Transport materials to designated workstations as needed.
• Monitor material levels and replenish machines to prevent production downtime.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Inspect materials for obvious defects or damage before loading.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist operators and production personnel as needed.
• Accurately follow work instructions and production schedules.
• Report equipment or material issues to supervisors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials regularly.
• Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and twisting.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment that may include noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
