About the Company

Express Employment is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist for a leading manufacturing company in Bettendorf, IA.

This position is responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the company’s quality management systems while supporting quality, production, customers, and suppliers. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and continuously improve company-wide quality management systems, procedures, work instructions, training materials, and controlled documents
Conduct internal audits, inspections, and verification activities while identifying and resolving non-conformances, customer concerns, and production quality issues
Analyze quality and production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process improvement
Prepare reports, metrics, and presentations for management review and communicate quality trends and improvement actions to leadership
Manage corrective and preventive actions while supporting training, calibration, quality testing, and other quality system functions as needed

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in a quality system-controlled organization
Completion of an industry-recognized Quality Management/Processing course or equivalent progressive experience
Advanced blueprint reading skills and operational understanding of ISO 9001 standards
Strong data analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions

Preferred Qualifications

Certified Internal Auditor experience or certification (ISO or AS)
Experience developing or maintaining Quality Management Systems
Experience with internal auditing, corrective/preventive actions, and continuous improvement
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Experience working directly with customers and suppliers regarding quality issues
Experience interpreting industry standards and quality requirements
