Salary: $18.00/hr.

We are currently looking for a qualified Metal/Grinding Operator for a company located in Hardeeville, SC. 

Pay: $18.00/hr.

Schedule: M-F 7am-4:30pm

Job Responsibilities: 
-- Operate the necessary tools and or equipment to clean castings per customer specification (25 lb. 4" Handheld Grinder)
- Process orders to assure production schedule and quality standards are met
- Work with supervisory and management personnel to help identify and reduce incidents of scrap.
- Ensure that all shop card instructions are followed.
- Initial shop card for each job produced while on shift and report any shop card questions to your supervisor.
- Help identify and prevent all incidences of high scrap.
- Operate all equipment in a safe and responsible manner, report safety concerns to your Supervisor or Safety Committee 

Qualifications:
-- Will train in foundry specific safety issues.
- Will train in industry specific business issues.
- Will train in machine operation specific issues.
- Ability to work in a production or process driven environment.
- Must be able to read.
- Must be able to perform simple math computations.
- Must have mechanical aptitude.
- Must be able to perform practical communication.
