Job Details

This position supports production by maintaining and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime and ensure maximum efficiency. The Sr. Maintenance Technician will play a key hands-on role in equipment reliability, working closely with Production and Engineering teams to maintain optimal performance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance on motors, pneumatics, conveyor systems, and production machinery
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic equipment to reduce downtime
  • Dismantle and replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, hoists, and cranes
  • Monitor equipment performance and proactively address issues using appropriate diagnostic tools
  • Work closely with Production and Engineering teams to assess equipment status and implement improvements
  • Maintain accurate documentation of repairs, adjustments, and maintenance activities
  • Assist in developing and executing preventative maintenance schedules
  • Maintain inventory of maintenance parts and supplies, including ordering and tracking as needed
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a clean work environment
  • Train and support other technicians as needed
  • Prepare and maintain maintenance reports, analyzing trends and performance data

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Minimum 4–6 years of experience as a Production Maintenance Technician
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
  • Experience working with pneumatic actuators and cylinders
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering specifications
  • Familiarity with automation systems, robotics, sensors, fiber optics, and motors
  • Experience using multimeters and standard hand tools for diagnostics and repair
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment with the ability to work under pressure
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Experience writing maintenance procedures and reports

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Experience working in a GMP environment
  • PLC knowledge and troubleshooting experience
  • Experience performing equipment Installation Qualification (IQ) protocols
