Schedule: 2-2-3 Rotating Schedule

We are seeking reliable Packaging Operators to join a fast-paced manufacturing team in West Jefferson, OH. This is a contract opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, operating production equipment, and maintaining high standards for safety and quality.

Responsibilities

Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and quality standards.
Report any safety, quality, or equipment concerns to supervision.
Operate packaging equipment, including case packers, conveyors, cappers, coders, sleevers, and robotic palletizing equipment.
Load packaging materials and monitor equipment during production.
Perform equipment changeovers, minor adjustments, and basic troubleshooting.
Set up equipment and materials for production runs.
Complete required quality inspections and accurately document production information.
Cover other operator positions during breaks and lunches as needed.
Operate a manual pallet jack.
Assist with inventory transactions and production reporting.
Notify supervisors of major mechanical issues or equipment abnormalities.
Train new team members when needed.
Participate in safety meetings and required training.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

12-Hour Day Shift (6:00 AM – 6:30 PM)

Qualifications

Required

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to work a rotating 12-hour schedule.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions.

Preferred

Previous manufacturing or food production experience.
Experience operating high-speed packaging equipment or robotic palletizing systems.
1–3 months of manufacturing or production experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
