Our client, a growing National Recycling Company has opened in Northeast San Antonio and is looking for Production Operators.  Pay is $18 an hour. Hours are 11:00pm to 7:30am Monday-Friday with 30-minute lunch. This is a long term opportunity.

Duties for the Chip Harvesting Technician position include:

• Responsible for the identification, extraction, and accurate documentation of recoverable flash memory chips and other high-value components from end-of-life storage devices
• Log all chip harvesting activity in Excel, including device type, quantity, and recovery date
• Record and track serial numbers for all harvested flash memory chips and components
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records to support reporting and audits
• Handle components with care to preserve chip integrity and maximize recovery value
• Proactively flag devices or components that may contain harvestable flash memory or other valuable parts

 Requirements for the Chip harvesting Technician position are:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data entry and basic record-keeping
• Prior experience in electronics recycling, IT asset disposition (ITAD), or hardware refurbishment
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately log serial numbers and component data
• Basic understanding of flash memory types (NAND, eMMC, etc.)
• This is a medium lift job that requires some lifting of 20-to-25-pound objects. Max occasional lift is 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout a warehouse environment for extended periods
• Must pass background check.
• Training/Testing is required prior to start.

The Chip Harvesting Technician position is a long-term opportunity. Hours are 07:00am to 3:30pm Monday-Friday with 30-minute lunch. Water, Gatorade and Ice-Pops provided by company.
