Client located in Mentor, OH – Seeking candidates in the Northeast Ohio

Pay: $24.00–$32.00/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday

Our client, located in Mentor, OH, is seeking an experienced Lead Loading Dock / Commercial & Industrial Door Technician to service customers in the Northeast Ohio area. This is a remote field-based position that involves leading installation and service crews while troubleshooting, repairing, and installing commercial loading dock equipment, automatic doors, overhead doors, high-speed doors, rolling steel doors, and related industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Receive and complete daily service work orders
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial dock and door equipment
• Install commercial and industrial doors and loading dock equipment
• Lead and supervise daily jobsite crews
• Ensure quality workmanship and excellent customer service
• Travel to customer locations throughout the assigned territory

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience installing, repairing, or troubleshooting commercial or residential door and/or loading dock equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Welding experience and/or electrical troubleshooting experience preferred
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Comfortable working outdoors, at heights, and on construction sites
• Ability to use ladders, lifts, and other access equipment
• Must pass a DOT physical and drug screening
