Location: Springfield, NJSchedule: Monday – Friday - 4PM - 12AM (2nd Shift)
A growing print and graphics production company in Springfield, NJ is seeking a Print Production Operator to join its production team. This position plays a key role in producing high-quality wide-format graphics, signage, displays, and branded materials for customers throughout the region.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment. Experience with wide-format printing equipment is preferred but not required for candidates with strong manufacturing or production backgrounds.
Set up, calibrate, and operate wide-format printing and finishing equipment.
Operate digital printers, CNC finishing tables, laminators, and related production equipment.
Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to ensure quality and accuracy.
Review and process work orders according to customer specifications.
Perform quality inspections to verify measurements, counts, and overall product quality.
Communicate production, equipment, material, or file issues promptly to management.
Assist with finishing, packaging, and preparation of completed jobs for shipment.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Follow all company safety procedures and production standards.
Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials (training available).
Support additional production tasks as needed.
Work flexible hours when required, including occasional extended shifts during peak production periods.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Previous experience in printing, manufacturing, production, machine operation, or related environments preferred.
Experience with wide-format printing equipment is a plus.
Knowledge of printing processes, machine setup, troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance preferred.
Familiarity with laminating, mounting, and finishing techniques is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to learn new technologies, equipment, and production processes.
Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday.
Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
Comfortable working in a production and manufacturing environment.
