Job Summary

Our client in Painesville is seeking a dependable Buildings & Grounds Laborer to help maintain the exterior appearance of their facility. This is an entry-level position focused on landscaping and grounds maintenance throughout the summer and into early fall. There is potential for this position to become permanent if work continues through the winter months.

Responsibilities

• Weed flower beds, landscaped areas, and walkways

• Trim bushes and maintain shrubs as needed

• Pick up litter and debris around the property

• Mow, edge, and maintain lawns (if assigned)

• Water plants and landscaped areas when needed

• Assist with general exterior building and grounds upkeep

• Clean sidewalks, parking lots, and outdoor common areas

• Use basic hand tools and landscaping equipment safely

• Perform other general labor duties as assigned

Qualifications

• No previous landscaping experience required—training provided

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical work throughout the shift

• Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude

• Reliable transportation to work

• Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team
