Salary: $18.00–$21.00/hour

We are partnering with a well-established equipment and distribution company in Sarasota that is seeking an experienced Receiver to join their warehouse operations team. This position plays a vital role in maintaining inventory accuracy, processing incoming shipments, and supporting efficient warehouse operations.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $18.00–$21.00/hour

Position Summary

The Receiver is responsible for receiving, inspecting, processing, and organizing inventory while ensuring accuracy throughout the warehouse. This role supports inventory management, returns processing, stock transfers, and daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and experienced in receiving and inventory control within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and process daily inventory shipments, returns, and stock transfers
• Inspect incoming and returned products for accuracy and condition
• Process vendor claims and return merchandise authorizations (RGAs)
• Accurately label, stock, and organize inventory within warehouse locations
• Maintain inventory accuracy through proper receiving and documentation procedures
• Operate RF scanners, inventory software, and warehouse equipment
• Assist with inventory counts, audits, and stock replenishment activities
• Support picking, packing, and shipping operations when needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
• Collaborate with warehouse and customer service teams to ensure efficient operations

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
• Minimum of 5 years of warehouse receiving experience preferred
• Previous inventory management experience required
• Experience working in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Forklift certification or forklift experience preferred
• Basic computer skills required
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull warehouse materials throughout the workday
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical warehouse tasks for extended periods
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
