Field Service Technician

Position Overview

We are looking for a reliable, autonomous Field Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will handle service orders across both residential and commercial properties. This is a dynamic, hands-on position that offers stable hourly pay alongside direct commission opportunities for on-site sales.

You will start with hands-on training via team ride-alongs, moving into an independent field role where you receive assignments through our company app and report to the office roughly twice a week.

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (with a shared, rotating on-call schedule)

• Compensation: $27.00–$30.00/hour (depending on experience) + commission opportunities

Key Responsibilities

• Field Service Delivery: Efficiently manage and execute residential and commercial service work orders received through the FSU smartphone app.

• On-Site Sales & Upselling: Identify customer needs while on-site and recommend additional solutions or services to earn extra commission.

• Team Collaboration: Participate in the shared, rotating on-call schedule with the technician team and check into the office twice a week.

Job Requirements & Physical Demands

• Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years old (for company vehicle insurance compliance).

• Screening: Must successfully pass a background check, drug screen, and maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).

• Tools & Tech: Must possess and provide your own basic hand tools (drill, screwdrivers, hammers, etc.) and a personal smartphone to run the FSU work order app.

• Physical Ability: Able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 70 lbs. when handling ladders or heavy equipment.

• Work Environment: Comfortable working in varied environments, including tight spaces like crawl spaces under residential or commercial structures.

Training & Perks

• Structured Training: First few weeks consist of paid ride-alongs with an experienced technician to get you fully up to speed.

• Company Vehicle: A company vehicle will be assigned to you following the successful completion of your initial training period.
