Supervise and coordinate daily ranch activities including livestock management, irrigation, and greenhouse operations.
Oversee the care and handling of animals, ensuring adherence to animal husbandry standards and providing proper nutrition and health monitoring.
Manage maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) of farm machinery, heavy equipment, power tools, hand tools, and other agricultural equipment.
Lead a team of ranch hands, providing training in equipment operation, safety protocols, manual handling techniques, and animal care procedures.
Operate heavy machinery such as tractors, forklifts, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently.
Ensure compliance with safety standards in all production activities to promote a safe working environment for staff.
Perform welding or basic mechanical repairs as needed; troubleshoot equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Maintain detailed records of livestock health, crop progress, equipment maintenance logs, and safety inspections.
Implement sustainable farming practices to optimize growth experience for crops and animals while protecting the environment.
Assist with special ranch events.
