Truck Driver Recruiter
Key Responsibilities
• Source, attract, and recruit qualified CDL drivers through various channels, including job boards, referrals, social media, and networking events.
• Screen and interview candidates to assess qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
• Manage the full recruitment cycle, from initial contact through onboarding.
• Coordinate pre-employment requirements, including background checks, drug screens, MVR reviews, and employment verification.
• Maintain compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and company hiring standards.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified driver candidates to meet hiring needs.
• Partner with operations and safety teams to understand staffing requirements and hiring priorities.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting metrics.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in recruiting, staffing, transportation, sales, or customer service preferred.
• Knowledge of CDL requirements, DOT regulations, and driver qualification standards preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
• Must have previous truck driving recruiting experience
Pay: $ 30- $35 Direct Hire
