Job Overview

You will work inside a manufacturing plant making fiberglass products. Your main responsibilities include applying fiberglass and resin to molds, finishing the products, and ensuring they meet quality standards.

Daily Responsibilities

• Apply fiberglass mat and resin to molds.
• Mix resin, gel coat, and hardening chemicals according to instructions.
• Use rollers to remove air bubbles and ensure the fiberglass is applied evenly.
• Trim and sand finished products to achieve the correct shape and finish.
• Inspect finished parts for defects and make minor repairs if necessary.
• Clean molds and keep the work area organized.

Work Environment

• Indoor manufacturing facility.
• The work area is hot and has strong chemical odors from the fiberglass materials.
• Exposure to fiberglass dust and resins, so safety equipment must be worn at all times.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

The company provides or requires:

• Respirator
• Gloves
• Steel-toe shoes (required)
• Other protective equipment as needed due to fiberglass dust and chemicals.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Stand for most of the shift.
• Perform repetitive tasks using hand and power tools.
