Warehouse Associate

Location: Stallings, NC
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Pay: $20/hr - $24/hr

Position Summary

An established commercial and residential construction supplier is seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations. This position is ideal for someone with warehouse experience who enjoys organization, inventory control, and operating material handling equipment in a fast-paced environment.

This assignment is expected to last at least one month, with the potential for long-term employment based on business needs and performance.

Responsibilities

Receive and inspect incoming shipments.
Read bills of lading and verify part numbers for accuracy.
Prepare and prioritize customer orders for shipment.
Assist with inventory cycle counts and inventory accuracy.
Perform inventory data entry using Microsoft Excel.
Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently.
Organize warehouse inventory and maintain a clean work environment.
Support shipping, receiving, and general warehouse operations as needed.

Qualifications

Previous warehouse experience preferred.
Experience operating a sit-down forklift.
Ability to read bills of lading and identify part numbers accurately.
Basic Microsoft Excel and computer data entry skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Frequently bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment.
