Job Description:

Express Employment Professionals of Clarksville is currently seeking reliable and experienced candidates for a Store Manager position with a major Furniture distribution company in Hopkinsville, KY. This position will pay between $19/hour.

 

Responsibilities:

• Open and close the store by completing all required operational checklists.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) when scheduled, ensuring smooth store function.
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and customer-ready presentation at all times.
• Update and manage the performance board to reflect current store goals and results.
• Ensure CXM activities, store initiatives, and operational programs are consistently followed.
• Create an engaging, positive working environment and strong selling culture; recognize and reward top performers.
• Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential

Qualifications:

• Must have High school diploma/(GED)
• Has previous experience with Sales and Management in Retail
• Possess a high energy passion for retail
• Able to improve store performance
• Has excellent communication - verbal and written 
• Maintains strong Customer Service and intrapersonal skills
• Has computer knowledge
• Enjoys a fast pace environment
• Capable of standing and walking for prolonged periods of time and frequently bend, twist, kneel
