Non-CDL Box Truck Driver

Location: Stallings, NC
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Pay: $20.00–$24.00 per hour

Position Summary

An established commercial and residential construction supplier is seeking a dependable Non-CDL Box Truck Driver to join its operations team. This role is responsible for safely transporting materials to customer job sites throughout the Charlotte area while supporting warehouse operations during non-delivery hours.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced delivery professional who enjoys a consistent weekday schedule and working as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a 25-foot automatic box truck.
Deliver materials to commercial and residential job sites throughout the Charlotte metro area.
Load and unload deliveries using equipment such as dollies, hand trucks, and lift gates.
Verify delivery materials and maintain accurate delivery documentation.
Assist warehouse personnel with shipping, receiving, staging, and organizing inventory when deliveries are complete.
Follow all company safety procedures and DOT regulations applicable to non-CDL operations.
Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service during deliveries.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of on-the-road delivery driving experience.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
Experience driving in urban and metropolitan areas.
Ability to meet fleet insurance driving requirements.
Ability to obtain access to military bases and federal facilities as required.
Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
Strong reliability, communication, and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements

Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
Frequently enter and exit delivery vehicle.
Stand, walk, bend, and move materials throughout the workday.

Training

New hires will receive hands-on training, including:

Equipment certification
Ride-along deliveries with experienced drivers
Warehouse organization and material identification
Vendor and job order orientation
