Position Summary

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day accounting functions and support the financial operations of their organization. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes, utilizing QuickBooks Online (QBO) to ensure accurate financial records, timely collections, and efficient vendor payments.

As they transition to RAMP for enhanced AP and expense management, experience with the RAMP platform is highly desirable and will be considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full cycle of Accounts Receivable (AR), including invoicing, customer payments, collections, and account reconciliations.
  • Manage the full cycle of Accounts Payable (AP), including vendor setup, invoice processing, payment scheduling, and vendor communications.
  • Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other balance sheet accounts on a regular basis.
  • Monitor cash flow and provide reporting on outstanding receivables and payables.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Prepare and maintain financial reports and supporting documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and internal controls.
  • Support management with financial analysis and reporting as needed.
  • Assist with the implementation and ongoing administration of RAMP for expense management, AP processing, and corporate card administration.
  • Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and tax professionals as required.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO).
  • Experience with RAMP
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes.
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and accounting best practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with RAMP or similar spend management and AP automation platforms.
  • Experience supporting small to mid-sized businesses.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting and budgeting processes.
