A growing manufacturing and distribution company in the South Holland area is seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate to join its team. This is a hands-on role supporting warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, inventory management, and customer service. The ideal candidate will have forklift experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

 

 Schedule: Part-Time, Monday–Friday
Hours: Any 4-hour shift between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM.  As the business continues to grow, we anticipate expanding this role to full-time in the future.

 

Responsibilities

  • Clean, organize, and maintain the warehouse
  • Pull, prepare, and ship customer orders accurately
  • Weigh, strap, wrap, and prepare shipments for delivery
  • Perform inventory counts and assist with inventory audits
  • Create shipping labels and process shipments using Shopify
  • Assist customers with order pickups and inquiries
  • Safely operate a forklift to move materials and products
  • Load, unload, and stage inventory as needed
  • Follow warehouse safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment

Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse experience required
  • Forklift experience required
  • Experience with shipping and order fulfillment preferred
  • Familiarity with Shopify shipping functions is a plus
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
