Printed Circuit Board Repair Technician

Salary: $30.00 to $35.00/hour

Express Employment Professionals - Irvine is seeking Printed Circuit Board Repair Technicians for a computer components distributor in the Irvine, CA area. These are long-term, full-time, evaluation hire opportunities. Hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. Base compensation starts at $30.00 to $35.00/hour.

 

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, test, and repair printed circuit boards and computer components
• Troubleshoot recurring failures and support root cause analysis efforts
• Provide technical support and repair-related guidance to customers and internal teams
• Recommend and implement improvements to repair processes, procedures, and documentation
• Accurately document diagnostics, repairs, and test results

 

Requirements

• At least one year of printed circuit board (PCB) repair experience
• Proficient with oscilloscopes, multimeters, microscopes, power analyzers, and other electronic test equipment
• Ability to read, interpret, and troubleshoot using electronic schematics and technical documentation
• IPC certification a benefit
• Technical education in electrical engineering, electronics, or a related field preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to producing quality work
