Responsibilities

• Safely disassemble automotive engines using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and machining techniques
• Conduct thorough quality control inspections on engine components to identify wear, damage, or defects
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move heavy engine parts safely within the workspace
• Maintain detailed records of disassembly procedures, parts inventory, and quality control checks
• Assist in the reassembly or preparation of engine parts for resale or recycling as needed
• Identifying engines and tagging them palletizing engines according to which plant they go to

Qualifications

• Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair or manufacturing environments
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools
• Experience with assembly techniques preferred
• Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklift equipment preferred
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control and safety standards
