General Labor Associate

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking General Labor Associate to join our team. This position is responsible for performing a variety of physical and operational tasks that support daily business operations, production, warehouse activities, and facility maintenance. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general labor duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
  • Load, unload, move, and organize materials, products, and equipment.
  • Assist with packaging, assembly, production, and warehouse operations.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic equipment as required.
  • Support receiving, stocking, and inventory activities.
  • Assist with facility maintenance and housekeeping tasks.
  • Follow company safety policies and procedures at all times.
  • Report equipment issues, safety concerns, or quality problems to supervisors.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet productivity and operational goals.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
  • Previous warehouse, manufacturing, construction, or labor experience is a plus.
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic communication and problem-solving skills.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift throughout the workday.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks and physical labor.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying environmental conditions.
  • Ability to safely operate equipment and tools after training.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in warehouse, manufacturing, construction, or distribution environments.
  • Familiarity with basic hand and power tools.
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
  • Strong attention to safety and quality standards.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and workloads.

Work Environment

  • Full-time position.

  • May involve indoor and outdoor work.
  • Regular schedule with occasional overtime, evenings, or weekends as business needs require.
